One of ForceBrands‘ core values is ‘People First.’ While this value is embraced by employees throughout the company, ForceBrands is committed to helping others in need within the larger community through its Force For Good program.
Force For Good encourages the company and its employees to give back to the community, do good work, and become more involved in the philanthropic movement of helping others. The initiative focuses on helping to tackle many different problems including poverty, environmental revitalization, adult education and hunger, and more.
During the 2017 holiday season, ForceBrands launched its first #ForceForGood Instagram campaign where we asked our audience to share how their respective companies giving back.
Read on to discover some highlights from our Force For Good movement that include partnerships with organizations like New York Cares, City Harvest, and charity: water.
May-June 2016: Food Drive with City Harvest
ForceBrands brought in about 200 pounds of non-perishable foods to donate to City Harvest, New York City’s largest food rescue organization, helping to feed the nearly 1.2 million New Yorkers who are struggling to put meals on their tables.
July 2016: Community Garden Revitalization Project
ForceBrands team members visited a public school in Brooklyn, N.Y. to helped to install irrigation systems in their fruit and vegetable gardens that are used to teach students about earth science. Team members also helped to remove weeds from the school’s playground area.
November 2016 (ongoing): Winter Wishes Program with NY Cares
ForceBrands receives 50 letters featuring holiday wishes from children and teens from underprivileged homes. Team members who participate get to grant one of these wishes by purchasing the gift, wrapping it, and either choosing to mail it to the recipient or hand-deliver it. ForceBrands participates annually in this program every holiday season.
Summer 2017: NY Cares Job Readiness & Interview Program with AHRC NY
ForceBrands visited AHRC to help unemployed or underemployed adults with physical or mental limitations prep for interviews by holding mock interview sessions and offering them résumé writing tips. We also helped them with their elevator pitch.
Fall 2017: Clothing Drive for Hurricane Relief
Following Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma, ForceBrands team members collected more than 100 pounds of clothing and donated it to families affected by the storms.

November 2019: Venice Beach Cleanup
ForceBrands’ Los Angeles team came together with local residents on November 13 to help clean up parts of Venice Beach on November 13. The event concluded with a team building happy hour.
December 2019: Donation Drives and Winter Wishes
ForceBrands continued its company tradition of collaborating with Winter Wishes and donating to City Harvest. ForceBrands also donated to United War Veterans Council that runs programs to help veterans suffering from mental illness, homelessness, and job readiness. The company ran a clothing drive to bring some warmth to these brave men and women.
